One Piece Korean Promo Cards: Events, Prize Cards and Exclusives

How Korean One Piece promo cards are handed out, from Standard Battle packs to Flagship prize cards and Korea Championship prizes, and what to check first.

Korean One Piece promo cards are not sold in packs. They are handed out at in-store events run under Bandai Namco Korea's organized play program: a participation pack or card for showing up, a prize card for winning or placing, and separate prizes at the Korea Championship. They are printed in Korean, they reuse existing card numbers, and the only way to get one at the source is to be in a Korean store, registered through a Korean app, on the day.

That distribution method is why these cards cost more outside Korea than their booster versions, and why you should know exactly which promo you are looking at before you pay. This guide goes through each event type using the official event pages for autumn 2026.

The four monthly event types

Bandai Namco Korea runs a recurring set of store events. Three of them repeat every month, and a fourth is tied to each booster release.

Event Level Entry requirement What is handed out
교류회 (meet-up) Beginner Free One promotional DON!! card
Standard Battle Beginner 4,000 won of One Piece product bought at the store Standard Battle Pack to all; promo card to the winner
Flagship Battle Experienced 6,000 won of product bought at the store Promotion Pack to all; prize cards to the winner and top 8
Limited Battle (release event) Experienced 6,000 won of new booster packs bought at the store Promotion Pack to all; prize card to the winner

All four require pre-registration through the Bandai Namco Korea PLAYGO app. The event pages say plainly that players who cannot install the app cannot enter, that walk-in spots exist only if pre-registration does not fill, and that photo ID is checked at Flagship Battles and championship qualifiers.

Meet-ups (교류회)

The meet-up is a casual monthly event aimed at new players. For November 2026 the participation gift is a single promotional DON!! card, listed as the Nika version (프로모션 두웅!! 카드 Ver.니카). Promotional DON!! cards are the one category of Korean promo with a practical use outside Korea, because DON!! cards in any language are allowed in sanctioned events under both the Korean floor rules and Bandai's English tournament rules.

Standard Battle

Standard Battle is the entry-level tournament, held at official and handling stores nationwide with 4 to 16 or 32 players depending on the store.

For November 2026:

  • Every participant gets one Standard Battle Pack Vol.13&14. Each pack holds a single card, from a pool of 10 types.
  • The winner gets three packs plus a promo card, OP12-028 Kozuki Hiyori.
  • With 20 or more players, the runner-up gets three packs and places down to 8th get two.
  • At the end of the event there is a draw that can award the winner's promo card to another participant.

Flagship Battle

Flagship Battle is the monthly competitive event, held at official stores with 8 to 32 players.

  • Every participant gets one Promotion Pack Vol.8, which holds 5 cards. The pool is 5 types.
  • November 2026: the winner gets OP12-020 Roronoa Zoro, and the top 8 get OP13-108 Jewelry Bonney.
  • October 2026: the winner got OP10-005 Sanji, and the top 8 got OP12-031 Tashigi.

The winner and top-8 cards change each month while the participation pack stays the same for a period. That rotation is what makes specific Flagship cards scarce: each design is given out for one month, one copy to the winner and a handful to the top finishers per store event.

Limited Battle (release events)

When a booster releases, stores hold a release tournament where only that set's new Leaders can be used. For OPK-14 the event ran from August 22 to September 4, 2026, with seven eligible Leaders from the set.

  • Participants received one Promotion Pack 2026 Vol.1, containing 3 cards from a pool of 8 types.
  • The winner received ST18-002 Nami.
  • A player who went undefeated received a special-spec version of the same card (the event page calls it 특별 사양, without describing the finish).

That last point matters when buying. There are two versions of the same prize card from the same event, and listings do not always say which one they are.

Korea Championship prizes

Above the monthly events sits the Korea Championship. The 26-27 season structure, as published by Bandai Namco Korea, is:

  1. Store qualifiers. Season 2 store qualifiers ran in October 2026. The winner earned a qualification slot, an OP12-028 Kozuki Hiyori promo card and Standard Battle packs. The top 4 earned qualification regardless of attendance.
  2. SEASON 2 WINTER, scheduled for December 12, 2026 in Seoul, open only to qualified players. A side event runs at the same venue for players without a slot.
  3. KOREA FINAL. Top finishers at the seasonal event receive entry to the final and a commemorative prize card.

The announcement does not name or show the seasonal prize card, and we could not find official print quantities for any Korean prize card. Any number you see quoted for how many copies exist is an estimate unless the seller can point to an official source.

Launch and purchase promos

Two other routes have existed.

  • Launch promo pack. When the Korean game launched in March 2024, Bandai Namco Korea held a showcase at Yongsan I'Park Mall in Seoul from March 22 to 24 and handed out a special launch promo pack there, according to Korean press coverage at the time.
  • Card and accessory sets. The Korean product list includes items sold as playmat and card sets, such as the Whole Cake Island Official Playmat & Card Set at 61,500 won. These are retail products, not event prizes, though they are not restocked the way boosters are.

Are Korean promos actually exclusive?

It depends on what you mean.

Exclusive in language: yes. A Korean prize card is printed in Hangul and is only distributed in Korea. No other region hands out that printing.

Exclusive in artwork: not confirmed. Korean promos use card numbers that already exist (OP12-020, OP13-108, ST18-002). The Korean event pages do not say whether the artwork or finish on each prize card is new or shared with the Japanese or English prize version of the same card. Before paying a premium for a "Korea-only" design, compare the card to the Japanese and English promo versions of the same number in a card database. If a seller claims exclusive art, ask them to show the comparison.

For the general logic of why regional promos get expensive, see Korea-exclusive promo cards explained.

Why foreigners rarely get these at the source

Every route above requires being physically in a Korean store and being registered in a Korean app in advance, and most require buying product at that store on the day. Qualification slots cannot be transferred, and the event pages prohibit proxy and multi-account registration. The cards also have no use in play for a visitor who brought an English or Japanese deck, because Korean events only allow Korean-edition cards apart from DON!!.

So nearly every Korean promo that reaches the US has passed through the Korean secondary market first.

What to check before buying a Korean promo

  • Card number and event. Ask which event the card came from and when. A legitimate seller can name it, and you can match it to the official event page.
  • Which version. For release-event winner cards, ask whether it is the standard winner version or the undefeated special-spec version.
  • Sealed or loose. Participation packs are sealed. Standard Battle packs hold 1 card, Promotion Pack Vol.8 holds 5, and Promotion Pack 2026 Vol.1 holds 3. A "sealed" pack with a different count is not what it claims to be.
  • Condition photos. Prize cards are handed out at a table and often go straight into a deck. Ask for front and back photos out of the sleeve. A checklist for when the card arrives is in how to check card condition on arrival.
  • Tournament use. If you play in the US, remember that a Korean Leader or main-deck card is not legal in sanctioned events, promo or not. DON!! cards are the exception.
